Dr Roshni Changalath

Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, MSF
Dr Roshni Changalath is an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist from India with over a decade of clinical experience, with interests spanning women’s health, gynaecological oncology, minimally invasive surgery and global health. She has worked across diverse clinical settings in India and has contributed to humanitarian healthcare with Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) in Malawi and Afghanistan. In Malawi, she supported MSF’s cervical cancer programme, while in Afghanistan she worked in maternal and child health services in a complex humanitarian setting. These experiences shaped her understanding of how conflict, displacement, poverty and health-system limitations influence women’s access to care.
Alongside her clinical work, Roshni is interested in strengthening women-centred healthcare and improving access to dignified, equitable and evidence-based services.
She continues to combine clinical practice, surgical training and global health perspectives, with a particular commitment to women’s health and the realities faced by patients and healthcare workers in challenging settings around the world.
