Dr Karan Kamble

Physician and Humanitarian Health Leader, MSF
Dr Karan Kamble is a physician and humanitarian health leader whose journey with Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) reflects a decade of progressive responsibility, from clinical care to medical leadership. He has worked across India, Ukraine, South Sudan, Greece, Kenya, Armenia, Myanmar, the Philippines, and Cambodia, gaining experience in some of the world’s most challenging healthcare settings.
His work has spanned infectious diseases, migrant health, key populations, primary healthcare, sexual and reproductive health, hepatitis C, TB and HIV, telemedicine, and emergency response. Most recently, as Medical Coordinator for MSF’s Philippines and Cambodia missions, he provided strategic leadership on tropical diseases and climate-sensitive health challenges.
Karan is particularly passionate about equitable healthcare for underserved and marginalised communities. His career has been shaped by a commitment to combining clinical expertise, people-centred leadership, collaboration, and innovation to build stronger health programmes and deliver meaningful change for patients and communities where it is needed most.
